Interlock weaves, curly weaves & quick weaves
Their are many different kind of weaves: interlock weave, quick weave and curly weaves. Let me explain; Interlock weave also known as "tree braiding", Interlocking is a unique and versatile hair weaving technique, one that has been around for many years. An Interlock Weave will give you the look of a full head weave, but the cornrows will be at the base of the style. The hair can be braided in a circular pattern or straight back. You also have the choice of leaving your hair out - or having it all braided. Curly Weaves are very popular and can be created by sewing or bonding. Both of these methods, of course, should always be done by a skilled, trained stylist. And a quick weave is not my type of weaves since there are so many different wigs and sew in weaves. Quick weaves are done with bonding glue which they can be ok, but only if they are applied correctly and maintained while wearing. Caring for Your WeaveMeticulous care and maintenance for your weave is a must. Here are a few do-it-yourself tips that you can use at home. Follow these regularly, and your hair will stay looking like you just walked out of the salon! Tie the hair up at night with a silk scarf. This will help keep your weave in place and minimize tangling.Depending on the size of your curls, you may want to either braid or twist the remaining hair left out around the perimeter (all areas that your hair was left out). 3. Be sure to keep a light creme-based moisturizer on hand to use on your Curly weave or any weave hair. This will help maintain shine and reinvigorate curls or style.
Maintain a healthy scalp....
Healthy hair can only come from a healthy scalp. So it's important to use hair products that will nourish your scalp and hair follicles. But many of the black hair styles (especially relaxed hair) involves chemicals that tend to inhibit the scalps ability to regenerate. This might cause dandruff, an itchy scalp, or even excessive oil.Try providing your scalp and hair with supplemental treatments that will undo some of the harmful damage caused by commercial relaxers, shampoos, and conditioners. Use natural products, for natural results. Burdock Root Oil, it's also used as an anesthetic, so it relieves itching too. So Bur Oil makes a perfect remedy for dry, flaky, or itchy scalp. Sage Tea, Some people also believe that it strengthens the roots and eliminates hair loss. Food Products, beauticians all over the world will swear by certain treatments that involve food. Smashed bananas and avocados mixed with milk is supposed to replenish the hair and scalp with nutrients. For dry or fizzy hair, honey, olive oil, egg yolks and almond oil are all good remedies. People also claim that these make good treatments for split ends and damaged hair. Your scalp is the growing ground for natural, beautiful hair. Keep it healthy, and your hair will always look radiant.
LADIES...STOP...THIS IS A HOT GHETTO MESS !
Ladies...Ladies......Ladies We must do this better than I've seen here lately. Weaves,Wigs and extensions (meaning single braids, micro's, invisibles, tree braids, crochets, interlocks, cornrows, etc. anything else we are getting attached to out hair). I'm going to just keep it real I am so very tired of seeing my queens of all ethnics walk around with these weaves & braids looking more than 6 months old. Ladies we got to stop NOW this is a HOT GHETTO MESS. Ok lets go over Extension Care 101 for those that think this is cute. First of all stop BOOT LEGGING, stop going to these part time, unlicensed people who are practicing on your head pretending they know what the h*&* they are doing b/c they are f*&^%!@# you up, excuse my french but it's not that serious I would rather wear my hair in a ponytail than go around looking a hot ghetto mess. Now other than the Boot Legging lets discuss lazy get up off your rumps and go get that shampoo & touch up, you know it's time. Now I can understand sometimes fund$ can be low, so I tell you what lets do a 101 home tutorial for Extension Care. Ok here it goes; if you choose to wear hair extensions, keep in mind that they need special care. When wearing extensions, you must wash and condition your hair at least once a month. It is crucial to moisturize your hair often while using extensions to avoid breakage and damage. Take good care of your hair and scalp, some of us put it off due to a hectic schedule or more pressing needs. We trust that a bi-monthly salon visit will take care of the most important aspects of our head and hair. In reality, though, it is the day-to-day grooming and hygiene practices that keep our hair in good shape.Shop for quality items like shampoo, conditioner, add spray and polish if you must, but try to keep from putting too much on your hair at one time, which can damage it. When you use the proper tools and products, having fabulous hair is a guarantee! And if your in Texas I AM Too cheap for you to walk around like this.Schedule your appointment TODAY!!
